Man arrested for allegedly selling human body parts in KZN
a Man was arrested for allegedly selling human body parts namely a skull, hand, torso and other parts cut into small pieces, in Margate on the South Coast of KZN.
Police received information from the community after the man tried to sell the parts for as little as R4000 in the area. He approached some traditional healers offering them the parts for purchase.
When the Police arrested the man he was dressed in traditional attire and confirmed to them that the parts were indeed human.
DNA analysis is underway to confirm who the remains belong to. The man will be charged with suspected possession of body parts and will appear in the Margate Magistrates court soon.
