Family of 4 dead on N2 following head on collision
A family of four have lost their lives on the N2 near Richards Bay.
The family were in their VW Polo when they were involved in a head on collision.
The two adults, toddler and teenager were declared dead on scene whilst two passengers from the second vehicle are in a critical condition.
Rescue teams used the jaws of life to extricate the casualties from the mangled wreckage.
The cause of the accident is unknown at this stage and will be investigated by the South African Police Service.
