A man lost his brother in a tragic accident yesterday morning after phoning him for help in changing a flat tyre.

The deceased left home just after 7am when he received a call from his brother for help with a flat tyre on the side of the N2 South just past the Ballito off-ramp.

The deceased had stopped his Tata Indica behind his brother’s Toyota Corolla well into the emergency lane and was standing alongside the car when a black BMW lost control and crashed into them from behind, crushing him against his car before hitting into the Toyota Corolla

Eight other occupants of the three vehicles, were transported from the collision to various hospitals with injuries ranging from moderate to serious.
